Regulatory principles for e-assessment
The Qualifications and Curriculum Authority (Ofqual), Council for the Curriculum, Examinations and Assessment in Northern Ireland (CCEA), Welsh Assembly Government's Department for Education, Lifelong Learning and Skills (DELLS) and the Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA) (subject to formal agreement from SQA accreditation committee) are pleased to announce that the Regulatory principles for e-assessment are now available to access from http://www.qca.org.uk/17689.html
The principles must be used in conjunction with other relevant regulatory criteria wherever technology assists or facilitates in the assessment process.
The scope and content of the Regulatory principles for e-assessment will be reviewed and evaluated on a regular basis to ensure that they continue to provide a framework that facilitates, promotes and encourages technical developments in the assessment process.
